World and Parathletics over for Osteopath

John Rothery principal Osteopath at Rothery Health is now home after the world and para athletics in London.This was an amazing opportunity to mix with world-class athletes and treat them but also to mix with fellow physiotherapists ,chiropractors and other osteopaths and sports doctors. John was sent home early after contracting the Nora virus and was gutted as this would have been his final day at the games. He got to see Usain Bolt  in his warm-ups and the highlight for him was to treat the bronze medal winner Ruswahl Samaai  from South Africa in the long jump straight after his medal ceremony. His story touched John especially hearing  how he was  brought up in a poor South African village and had to walk to training  every day and his constant struggle against injury .
